Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Class-A CDL Driver to operate company-owned trucks transporting goods, supplies, and materials. The driver will be responsible for completing daily routes safely and efficiently, and adhering to all DOT regulations. Routes, equipment, and schedules will vary day to day. This position's primary focus is Anacortes, WA to Kent, WA roundtrip daily 3-4 times per week. Key Duties and Responsibilities -Operate a commercial truck on designated routes and schedules. -Complete pre-trip inspections to identify damage or mechanical issues. -Load and unload cargo; verify the accuracy and security of each load. -Communicate with dispatch and onsite personnel to coordinate pickups and deliveries. -Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety standards. -Document and report mechanical problems or equipment failures. -Refuel vehicles and perform basic maintenance checks (e.g., oil, tire pressure). -Keep truck interior and exterior clean and in good working order. -Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or incidents to supervisors.
Required Skills -Ability to operate large commercial vehicles safely. -Familiarity with FMCSA trucking regulations. -Able to follow safety and traffic protocols consistently. -Knowledge of operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks, or ability to learn. -Strong time-management skills and dependability. -Ability to effectively communicate with dispatchers and team members at pickup and delivery locations.
Requirements and Qualifications -High school diploma or GED. -Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with 3+ years of experience. Doubles and Hazmat endorsements preferred. -Clean driving record (no recent moving violations). -No DUI/DWI offenses within the last 10 years. -Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance requirements). -Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods. -Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
